The cult(ural) bar at Westflügel!
Every Friday froelich & herrlich opens its doors and offers an exquisite selection of drinks and from time to time a small program. In the charming ambience, you can relax and enjoy a Friday evening.
Local artists give insights into their work and the famous Störtebeker knows how to please the palate. The bar is operated by volunteers and the entire income directly funds the artistic work of Westflügel. Cheers on // for the theater. froelich & herrlich has hosted concerts and shows by artists including Karolina Trybala, Djangophon, We are sheriff, Juliane Moll, Muscat, Los Commandantes, anyway, Saldes Sanc with Ernst Horn, Mama Ulita, Edda Waldau, Swing in LE, Sofia Flesch Baldin, and many others. MDR has been a guest to film “Kim comes: the smallest show in the world", in the bar.
There are a number of visual artists who are very close to Westfluegel.
Almost all the posters on the walls of the bar are by Robert Voss.
The metal sculptures, which can be seen in the garden, are by Christian Schmit.
The winged being above the bar is by Michael Vogel.
