Zunächst zufällig, dann eins nach dem anderen, indem man einem Frosch und einem Pottwal folgt und dabei die Geschichte der Erde und ihre 4 Milliarden 600 Millionen Jahre auf den Spuren des Gedichts von Raymond Queneau – Petite cosmogonie portative – zurückverfolgt.
„… mein Gedicht enthält eine Zusammenfassung der astronomischen Kosmogonie,
einen Teil, der sich mit der Entstehung
des Lebens befasst und in Paläobiologie, Botanik und
Biologie sowie Evolutionismus unterteilt ist, und einen abschließenden Teil,
der sich mit der Mechanik und der Geschichte der
Maschinen befasst.
(Dieses Gedicht) habe ich überhaupt nicht konzipiert, es hat sich
von selbst konzipiert, nun ja, es ist ein Gedicht, das ein wenig…
surrealistisch ist, sagen wir mal. Nun ja, surrealistisch in dem
Sinne, dass es keine Absicht gibt, nun ja … Eigentlich
überhaupt keine.“

Cosmogonie Portative ist ein farbenfrohes und poetisches Epos für alle Altersgruppen. Die Show wechselt zwischen szenischen Sequenzen und in Stop-Motion-Technik gedrehten Animationsfilmen. Ein Musiktheaterstück mit Objekten und Marionetten, das die visuelle Welt von Jean Pierre Larroche, die Klangwelt von Julien Desprezund die animierten Bilder von Clémence Gandillot miteinander verbindet.

Where does an idea come from? First by chance, then one thing after another, following a frog and a sperm whale and tracing the history of the Earth and its 4 billion 600 million years in the footsteps of Raymond Queneau’s poem Petite cosmogonie portative.
„… my poem contains a summary of astronomical cosmogony,
a section dealing with the origin
of life, divided into palaeobiology, botany and
biology, as well as evolutionism, and a concluding section
dealing with the mechanics and history of
machines.
(This poem) I did not conceive at all, it conceived
itself, well, it’s a poem that is a little…
surrealistic, let’s say. Well, surrealistic in the
sense that there is no intention, well… Actually,
none at all.“

Cosmogonie Portative is a colourful and poetic epic for all ages. The show alternates between scenic sequences and animated films shot using stop-motion technology. A musical theatre piece with objects and puppets that combines the visual world of Jean Pierre Larroche, the sound world of Julien Desprez and the animated images of Clémence Gandillot.
